| Watch out on the main drag near the marina - it is EXTREMELY busy in the day and night with cars honking their horns all the time. Watch out especially if you are a pedestrian - look for crossing points. |

| A good drive is up past 'Tivoli World' to Mijhas - watch out for the edge though - it is extremely dangerous especially when you are near the top and near Mijhas - it is a lovely town though with many shops and nice buildings. |

| Car rental is good to consider but be aware of the extra rental costs (insurance, mileage etc..) and enquire about lower weekend rates. Avoid taxi's (in any busy place). The local bus services and half hourly trains are also good. |
| Benalmadena Overview |
| Situated between Malaga and Torremolinos, the sprawling city of Benalmadena has had a chequered past, with many civilisations and cultures stamping their mark on the city’s architecture and customs. Benalmadena started out as a typical Andalusia village, at the foot of the mountains on the shore, and today covers an area of over 26 sq kilometres. Hometown of Antonia Banderas, the picturesque gardens and narrow streets of the old city are almost as pretty as he is, and show evidence of the different peoples who have inhabited the region over the centuries. |

Archaeology Museum – This museum has an impressive collection of ancient pieces dating back before Columbus, and artefacts from Central America and Mexico.
