| Gerona airport is located in the centre of the province, near the Costa Brava, the Pyrenees and the city of Gerona. Its principal function is to serve the holiday resorts of Costa Brava. At present, Gerona-Costa Brava airport has a runway measuring 2,400 by 45 meters with two exit taxiways.
The airport has a passenger terminal and a cargo terminal and 50 aircraft stands. Gerona Airport offers links to major destinations in Belgium, France, Holland, Ireland, Italy, England and Spain. |

| Driving Directions |
| Girona Airport is located approximately 12 km from the capital of the province, in a tectonic depression called La Selva. It is situated within the city limits of Vilobi D’Onyar and Aiguaviva. The airport is accessed by the N-II, the AP-7 and the C-25. These roads have exits which join the 1,700 meter-long road which leads to the airport.
Taxis provide the best method of transfer, and are usually in plentiful supply at the airport. The prices are reasonable. |
